Dan Holmes and Crew
HFG was founded in 2002 by Dan Holmes, a landscape expert with over 25 years of experience. Dan holds a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. His passion for landscaping began in his Connecticut hometown, inspired by a neighbor's unique gardening techniques.
After working for various nurseries and firms, Dan established his company in Newtown, CT. He actively supports community organizations, serving on the board of the Pootatuck Watershed Association and as a founding member of Newtown Earth Day. Dan frequently speaks on sustainable landscaping and horticultural practices.
Dan leads a professional landscape crew dedicated to excellence and sustainability. Each team member is skilled, knowledgeable, and committed to bringing Dan's vision to life, ensuring every project is executed with precision and care.
