Holmes Fine Gardens has been designing and maintaining our gardens for 15 years at Foxglove Cottage. Dan Holmes and his expert crew of property managers and gardeners started with an ordinary-looking piece of woodland property and turned it into a dream-like fantasy that takes our breath away. There is a circular motif which runs throughout the landscaping with curved stone paths leading to rock gardens, perennial gardens which are loaded with flowering vines, shrubs, and garden flowers so that we have blooms from spring to fall every year. The property is on the lakefront and when we first came to live here, Dan doubled our lakefront footage by clearing away the woods that were blocking our view of the lake and created beautiful continuations of our existing lakefront gardens. Additionally, the crew working on our property is not only pleasant but also attentive and talented gardeners.
